Driving a motorhome in Denmark

No motorway tolls but two large toll bridges, environmental zones in the main cities and lights on during the day.

Motorways, tolls and vignettes

What a vignette is: in some European countries you buy a permit before using the motorways, now often digital and linked to the number plate, valid for a set period instead of paying at toll booths.

Motorways are free. You pay for the Great Belt bridge (Storebælt, between Funen and Zealand) and the Øresund bridge (to Sweden): the price depends on the vehicle length, and a motorhome pays more than a car.
