Driving a motorhome in Slovakia
An electronic vignette for motorways and expressways, an electronic toll over 3.5 t and lights on all year round.
Motorways, tolls and vignettes
A motorway vignette is a permit, now often digital and linked to the number plate, that you buy before using the motorways: it is valid for a set period and there are no toll booths.
Up to 3.5 t you need the electronic vignette (e-známka), linked to the number plate, to be bought online or at a sales point before joining the motorway.
Over 3.5 t there is no vignette: you pay an electronic distance-based toll with an on-board unit.
Environmental sticker, ZTL and low emission zones
