Driving a motorhome in Poland
Few toll motorway sections, the e-TOLL system over 3.5 t and low emission zones in Warsaw and Kraków.
Motorways, tolls and vignettes
What a vignette is: in some European countries you buy a permit before using the motorways, now often digital and linked to the number plate, valid for a set period instead of paying at toll booths.
Up to 3.5 t you only pay on some concession motorway sections, for example parts of the A1, A2 and A4, usually at the booth; the rest of the network is free.
Over 3.5 t you pay the e-TOLL charge on motorways and many national roads, with the app or an on-board unit.
Environmental sticker, ZTL and low emission zones
There is no sticker. Warsaw and Kraków have low emission zones (Strefa Czystego Transportu) that exclude older vehicles, foreign ones included: check the required registration year and Euro class.
Low emission zones in our data
3 zones, including: Strefa Czystego Transportu, Strefa Czystego Transportu w Krakowie, Strefa Czystego Transportu w Szczecinie.
